about

From The Outlandish Knights ceilidh band set, a Ceri original followed by a Welsh traditional tune arranged by Cat & Ceri. One of Anna's favourite tunes of ours, we started out recording it with just three repeats of each tune, then I decided to add in the bass & guitar solos to extend the 2nd tune. James liked this so much he suggested we extend it further, so we added in Rob's wonderful acoustic guitar solo, followed by my very Jon Lord influenced organ solo. I still thought the first tune lacked something (I always like to add something new to ceilidh tunes every repeat) so I asked Ceri to add clarinet, which she was pleased to do if only to up her instrument score!
